Basic Service Package (BSP)

Hearthstone by the Bay offers a unique complement of basic club services for a monthly fee, thoughtfully determined with you in mind and always professionally delivered. Here are the services you can count on just for being a homeowner.

a) Professional Management Services including:
i. A designated full-time, on site manager to oversee all areas of service and equipment within the Hearthstone Club and to liaise directly with the residents and the Corporation’s property manager;
ii. Appropriate, qualified service personnel on the premises daily.

b) Monitoring of fire, security and emergency call systems by on-site personnel with emergency training, able to respond to security and health emergency calls twenty-four (24) hours daily.

c) Use and enjoyment of the Hearthstone Club facilities and amenities.

d) Hearthstone Club services including:
i. Co-ordination with community seniors’ support services and resources;
ii. Nutritional, dietary and medication counselling;
iii. Education and consultation for a variety of health matters;
iv. Periodic health clinics to monitor weight, glucose and blood pressure;
v. Co-ordination of Doctor’s services: Hearthstone Club staff will, on request, co-ordinate arrangements for on-site doctor’s services, if any;
vi. Ordering of all medications through our selected pharmacy; and
vii. Quarterly medication reviews to ensure that all doctor’s order for medications are being properly documented.

e) Regularly scheduled cultural, educational, recreational, fitness and social programs organized by the Hearthstone Club Activities Director and/or staff for residents, taking into consideration residents’ preferences (Certain programs may be subject to a user or registration fee.)

f) Shuttle service available for weekly outings to the grocery store or shopping mall.

g) For Level 3, in suite services of four (4) hours per month to be used for a combination of cleaning, dusting and vacuuming.

h) Provide daily lunch and dinner services in the Hearthstone Lakeview Dining Room. Lunch is served from 12-1:30 p.m., and dinner is served from 5-6:30 p.m. Coffee and tea is available in Humber Bay Pub six days of the week - Monday to Saturday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Bar is open for drinks between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m. daily. An amount of the monthly club fee, known as the meal credit, will be credited to each unit for the purpose of enjoying meals in the dining room. The meal credit does not apply to to groups of 8 people or more, or on catered events. For those units with two occupants, a second occupant fee will apply.

i) Access to the Hearthstone Club for available à la carte services on a pay-per-use basis.
